Dartford Crossing Info
The crossing is now free at night but daytime charges have increased to £1.50 for cars. However, residents of Thurrock are entitled to join the Local Resident Scheme - making crossing the river alot cheaper.

You need to send in proof of ownership of your vehicle and proof of residence as well as a copy of your last Council Tax bill - Thurrock Council will send you a free copy of this if you call the department directly on 01375 652875 or by email council.tax@thurrock.gov.uk
Note that the 2010 Council Tax demand was sent out at the end of March / early April
